Dodge Dart 1969 Description

Original owner survivor! California car since new! Still has the original black plates. I literally dragged this dart out of the original owner's yard until the brakes unlocked. It had been sitting for 7 years. I replaced the gas tank and rubber fuel lines and rebuilt the carb. I have driven the car probably 1000 miles since purchasing it from the original owner about 2 years ago. It runs fine but still needs carburetor work and/or vacuum lines hooked up/replaced. The brakes work like drum brakes should. I've had no problem with them. Steering is manual. The transmission works perfectly and shifts very firmly. Charging system is great. New battery a year ago. Blinker lever doesn't work. Gas gauge works and dummy lights work. e-brake works great. Wipers work great. Horn works. Taillights, rakelights, eadlights including high beams all work! The car cruises along just fine. You can drive it anywhere. Does not overheat.

The paint is original everywhere. Amateur bodywork had been started. Luckily I bought the car before that went too far. The front floors are rusty and so are the lower rear quarters. Pinholes in trunk floor but doesn't look bad. Surface rust on roof and trunk lid will sand out. All body panels are repairable without replacing. The front bumper is perfect. Not a single ding anywhere and the chrome is great. Rear bumper has a small dent but is repairable/rechromeable. The headlight bezels are perfect with the exception of a small ding on the driver's side one. Hood lip moulding is perfect. The grille is perfect without the slightest bend anywhere. All window trim, oor handles and script badges are in great shape. The passenger's side taillight bezel looks perfect but the driver's side one has a bend. No cracks or breaks in them. The original hubcaps (perfect redline dog dish) and perfect radio delete plate, hich I confiscated for safety reasons, urned in a garage fire two months ago, long with 2 restored classic Nova's.

The interior is what it is. Pictures tell the story well. Good, ndamaged door panels and rear panels. No headliner. Rubber mat car, ever had carpet. Original mats still there.

All of the glass in the car is 100% intact and clear with no chips or cracks. All windows roll up and down fine. The outer rear window trim is sitting up in the package tray. There are misc. other parts in a box. Clean, lear title!
