Dodge Coronet 1950 Description
1950 Dodge coronet, runs and drives well, fluid drive transmission is in operating order. True mileage unknown with this one but she runs and drives. Operating under the stock 6v system with a brand new coil, i have installed new headlights, rebuilt the starter and the carburetor (one barrel stromberg) It does have a manual choke which once you get the feel of it, she start even in the freezing cold and takes little time to be at operating temperature. The dodge has a three inch drop in the rear and stock height in the front to give that tail dragger look. The rear tires are newer with about 90% tread on them but the fronts are old skool bias ply which could use replacing but i drive it as they are. (Not on the expressway, I just kick around town. I have had it up to 65 and it wants to go more but i ran out of road).Any missing badges and trim is in the truck including the hood ornament, along with two more original rims and hubcaps. There is very little rust on the car really, the spare tire in the truck is rusted through but the floors in the seated area are in good shape.
The interior has all four door panels redone but the originals do come with the car for a pattern if you wish to change it. The seats are worn but the Mexican blankets complete the full rat look.
speed o meter, oil, amp gauges work just fine, fuel gauge does not. all dash lights work perfect. all blinkers and brake lights work as they should, no leaks from any where.
I listed this as a fixed price because trades may be welcome (up or down depending, Just know if i trade, i benefit or i will just sell it out right.
This car is priced to sell fast, I dont care if you sell it and flip it, i just want to start my 58 cadillac.......
