Dodge Dart 1971 Description
this is an original Hemi orange/ black vinyl top 1971 dart swinger, i was told that the car has 14k original miles .And frankly i have no reason to not believe it. The car is stunnin, the condition is amazing' I bought the car from the grandson of the original owne, and i was there when we uncovered her and took her out of the garage where it sat for a long long time. The Dart is originally a 318 /727 auto trans 8.75 3.23 sure grip rear. When i purchased the car the valves were all seized up because no one ever turned the engine over . so rather than sink money into a 318 . I decided to Have a 340 built for her. 70 340 all stock with an upgraded comp cam and while i was at it i had the trans rebuilt and a transgo shift kit installed . the rear was tight and showed almost no wear so i changed the fluid and had green bearings installed on big bolt pattern axles. the car is originally a manual drum brake ca, i converted the fronts to disc from right stuff . the intake is an Edelbrock performer rpm air ga, and the carb is a 650 edelbrock performer with electric choke. all the glass is in amazing shape and rolls up and down as it shoul, the gauge cluster and dash looks like ne, the only defect in the dash is one crack in the dash pa, so while the car was sitting they put parts on the seats and it ruined the vinyl . I had all the seats recovered with a kit from legendary interiors. i also replaced the carpet and insulatio, it smells and looks like a brand new ca, car never had rust and is un restored except for the seat, i also had all the front end bushings changed because of age. i put 4 new tires o, rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders are new as well as the correct Disc/drum master cylinder.the radio is missing and other than that and the single crack in the dash pad you cant tell the car is not new from the driver seat, the grille and factory paint are in amazing shap, there are two really small dents in the hood about as big as your pinky finger tip and not dee, you really have to look to find them, there is a mild dent in the passenger rear quarte, and thats it. now for the million dollar mopar question RUST? i have crawled u, dow, aroun, over and under this car and there is one bubble in the paint behind the passenger rear whee, its not soft at all and just a bubble in the paint a super easy fix, the bumpers are almost perfect there a a few minor scratches, no rust anywhere els, the trunk and original trunk mat and spare look like i just pulled off the showroom floor in 71...there are no miles on this build as it still has a few very minor needs.1. Battery Installed 2, master cylinder installed (i will do that for you) 3. i have a brand new set of tti (if i remember correctly) polished ceramic headers they need to be installe, i also have the exhaust minus mufflers,
4 . hook up the transmission shift linkage. i can take care of that too .put a radio in (there are new speakers already installed
5. put gas in!6. drivethats it ! maybe some dog dish hubcaps but it would take a guy a weekend to get this car cherry and ready to roll . The engine details will be given to the buyer . as well as one hell of a time capsule. this car is super nic, and all the factory undercoat is still in place and no soft spots underneath . no rust repair either all original Mopar steel.

Feedback: ok let me explain something so you can make your own decision. i have ONE negative feedback and i will tell you my side of the story. gentle man bought a 67 satellite driver from me with a very clean interio, a fresh 67 440 hp . a fresh clutch and 4 speed and a fully rebuilt 8.75 sure grip rear all this car for 11K dollars. he called me up and asked me to take several pics of specific areas and i did so . i took and sent over 75 pics over two days and 14 emails to hi, and i even came in on sunday to meet his shipper and help load the car. so he gets the car and sends me a couple pics asking what this or that is fo, then three days later he is mad at me because there are a couple cracks in the paint around the wheel wells . please take the time to go in my feed back and read the item description i wrote for that car. its just a case where a guy wanted a fully restored 50 year old car for 11k. i did more than most sellers do period . we have nothing to hide please do come out and look for yourself i take a lot of pride in my cars. and that satellite was my personal driver for three years . i am an ASE certified master tech and that car runs flawless. hell i even gave him carb jetting advice because in at high altitude and he is at sea level . anyway please feel free to call me my name is Charles and my personal cell is 307-315-2927 i look forward to your questions and requests
