Dodge Coronet 1972 Description
Listing for my dad. 1972 Dodge coronet. Runs and drives. Air conditioning works. His pride and joy, he's driven all over the country pulling a small camper. So it has seen a LOT of highway over the years. Needless to say my dad kept it up.
The 318 in the car now is a 1976, which he installed a number of years ago. He still has the original 318, which he planned to rebuild and put back in it, but his health is failing. The original engine goes with the car. It has a 904 auto transmission. Tranny has been rebuilt, can't remember when.
My dad also has an extra "pumpkin" with 3.23 gears for the rear end that goes with it.
It runs good, except it'll quit for some reason, but then start right back up. My dad thinks it may be vapor-lock, so that's why you see aluminum foil on stuff under the hood, as he was experimenting trying to figure it out.
Did have a vinyl roof, but started rusting underneath it, so dad took it off and threw a coat of paint over it. The rear window leaks a little because of it. Needs to be fixed. Rest of body and undercarriage (frame) is solid.
That's all I know. If need more info, contact and I will give you my dad's contact info. Thanks
