I have the pleasure of listing for sale this 1955 Dodge Custom Royal. Super Red Ram 2bbl HEMI powered with 2 speed automatic transmission. 1955 Dodges started with VIN 34740001 and ended with 34970679. This one is 34928027 near the end of the run that year. Body Tag reads; Paint 71 Trim 436 SP 3 Schedule 06 02 15 002Miles are 23043 and believed to be accurate. Repainted and seats recovered some 20+ years ago. Overall paint is cruise night presentable but not concourse. Decent quality and shine. just old and shows some scuffs and scratches. The door jambs show some overspray. with some surface rust reappearing. The frame and chassis are solid. The wheel wells and lower body rockers show a few holes and some surface scale in some spots. Definately NOT a rust bucket. Bumpers and chrome trim show to be original. Rear bumper has some chrome rubbed away from what looks like a steelwool pad. Missing 2 small chrome trim parts as seen in the Data Plate pic. Front winshield has crack as shown and driverside window has crack as well. Hood. trunk and doors line up well. Open and close freely. Interior looks and feels great. Dash chrome is very good. All the guages work. Radio does NOT work. Missing 2 dome light lensesEngine starts. runs and drives smooth. No smoking. knocking or ticking.
