Dodge Power Wagon 1968 Description
Update: I have installed the original split rims with new paint, these are the rims and tires that are included in the sale of the truck. The silver rims with the highway tires are not part of this sale. Please note the first two pictures with the included rims. This is a fine example of a well taken care of Truck, I purchased this from the original family who purchased it new in eastern Colorado. This is a fine example of an original unrestored power wagon. This is a factory W100, with factory W200 running gear. It has a Braden MU3 PTO winch that works flawlessly. Runs, drives and stops great, it takes a few pumps to get it started when cold but after it warms up it fires right off. Great idle, quick responsive carb. with no hesitation. Brakes are adjusted and don't pull, just installed a new clutch master cylinder, plenty of clutch left, the heads have been painted so I can only assume that some headwork has been done at some point by the previous owner. Step wells and rockers have rust, floors are in great shape with the exception of a 1/2" hole on drivers side. Paint is original with the exception of the front fenders, when I purchased the truck the previous owner has disassembled the fenders and had stripped the paint off, I painted both fenders the original color and bolted everything back together, otherwise the truck has a great original patina. Seat needs to be recovered, I have an old Native American blanket on it that serves well. Please feel free to ask any questions. The tires in the photos are not included, I used those for test driving purposes only, the last photo shows the original split rims with old 7.50-16 tires. I am working on painting the rims now and will update the photos in the next few days. Thanks
