Dodge Challenger 1971 Description
1971 Challenger, V-8 Plum-Crazy/ White interior and Convertible Top, Original Factory Colors=WOWA/T, P/S With Paperwork, all numbers matching. Was a Winston Concourse car at Indy and in many parades. Judged by Cannonball Run movie writer as Best Restored Challenger in the country at the Eastman (Kodak) House, Movie Car Festival, Rochester, NY. Very Coool looking with this beautiful, and most sought after combo of factory ORIGINAL colors. Needs some small things as it is a 25 yr old restoration but is solid, looks and runs great. Everything was completely restored only 3400 miles ago. Has power steering and power convertible top. Won Thirty-five trophies first year shown, and many best of show as well. You won’t find one like this with matching numbers. Runs and drives great! Has passed all current safety inspections. Great Value for the money. Low deposit, and non-refundable.On Jun-20-16 at 09:30:47 PDT, seller added the following information:
Look at the convertible top, NO cracks, looks new! Look at the seats, NO cracks, looks new! Look at the wheels, right no rust nor chips, looks new! Look at the dash, NO cracks, looks new! not a cheap plastic cover, $3400 redone top notch professional. Lastly, Before the price crashed, a car like this sold for $65,000! This is a steal, your going to make more money with this than in the bank and have fun with it at the same time, I am thinking.
On Jun-20-16 at 09:53:51 PDT, seller added the following information:What is a 318 HP. Like the 383 Magnum engine that used the 440 heads and bigger cam, this uses the 360 decked heads (9.5 compression ratio) and a larger Mopar cam, 4bbl with Mopar Torker aluminum intake, no headers to rust out, factory 360 exhaust manifold and should use premium un-leaded fuel. New three core 1971 HP radiator with a backup pusher fan to use in hot stop and wait parades. No need for the additive for the fuel that will leak all over and smell up the car, the heads have hardened seats. A strong runner. Sweet!
