1973 Dodge C-800 Fire Truck - Bean / 4 Guys - Low Mileage - Great Show Truck

Dodge C-800 1973 Description

It has been my pleasure to own this wonderful rig since 2006. It has taken me to many a fire muster, parades and shows. But it’s time to pass it on to someone else, that loves Dodge Trucks and/or Old Fire Trucks.
1973 Dodge C800 with 413 Gas motor, was purchased at local Dodge dealership in PA, shipped to FMC/Bean Corp to have the Fire Body installed. In 1987 it had several upgrades done by 4Guys Inc. Stayed in front line service until, I purchased it in 2006. I drove it 9 hours home from PA, to the mountains of North Carolina. Truck is easy to drive and has never let me down. With the single speed rear end, it tops out at about 52 mph. It has been housed indoors all it’s life, but does show normal wear on fenders & tire wells, please see photos. The interior is all original, all lights work, main siren is not working at present, but auxiliary siren under front bumper works just fine. The heater coil was leaking, so I sent it off to be repaired, got it back along time ago, but have never reinstalled it, due to it never gets driven once it turns cold. Some of the photos show magnetic signs I have attached to it, these will be removed before she is sold.
As mentioned the truck is a C-800 with 27240 actual miles, 413 gas motor, 5 speed, single speed rear end, does burn a little oil, maybe 1 qt added every 6 months, hydraulic brakes. Truck has been regularly service and maintained. Have good NC title which will have to be notarized over to the new owner.
