Dodge Dart 1966 Description

That's right. This is a 1966 Dodge Dart GT with a GM supercharger. It has been sitting for several years and will not start. The battery is dead as well. It is a lot of fun, but I am moving and do not have time or space to deal with it anymore. This is a No Reserve Auction. The high bidder will get the car.

As seen by the stickers, I did race it in Drag Week. It was really slow by comparison to the other cars, but it performed flawlessly through out the 1000 mile trip. I guarantee no one had more fun that we did. After Drag Week, I did have a bit of work done to address some of the performance issues. Though we made it through the week without a hitch, we new there was more speed that we weren't getting out of the car. Unfortunately, I have never had a chance to take it back on the road and try it out. The wheels and tires that were abused during the racing have moved on.

The Good:

Super charger mounted on a custom adapter to an Offenhauser 4 bbl intake for a Slant 6.

Rebuilt Transmission

3.23 Posi Chrysler posi rear

GT wheels

10" drum brakes all around from a 1966 V8 Dart

Sony AM/FM CD Player with a connector for an IPOD/MP3 Player

Boost Gauge.

stained paint on trunk lid. It should polish out. (If I have the time I may try)

The bad:

Probably needs the fuel system emptied and flush out.

Needs a good cleaning.

I made/modified the hood and it is not the finest job of metal work or paint, but it gets the job done. During the race we commented on the fact that we drew more attention than cars whose fuel management system cost more than this car. It was a lot of fun.

I bought the car in Arizona, and it has a clear Arizona title. I have always stored it in a garage. I work from home, so I am flexible for arranging inspections. The buyer is responsible for shipping the car.
