Dodge Other 1976 Description
1976 dodge B100.> I am the third owner and have owned this van for over three years. In that time I have had a few things repaired on it. It is time to let it go because I am saving up funds for a motorhome. The second owner told me they had the interior redone in the 1980s and that alone cost $5000.

> MECHANICAL-- 101,815 original miles, starts right up and sounds great, like a boat in the water with dual exhaust. Since I've owned it I have had the following done: professionally rebuilt carburetor, air filter, new battery, drained old gas out of tank, new filter inside tank and a inline outside the tank. It does smoke some but seems to be clearing up since I've been running it more. It has a lot of power I am very impressed with the get up and go when I drive it. The power steering works great and the brakes are power and they feel good too. The emergency break does not seem to be working. It has aftermarket air conditioning that works but does not get cold. I also have the original brochure/manual for the AC. I have seen no signs of any oil leaks since I have owned it. It does leak antifreeze and it looks to be coming from the water pump. All of the gauges are in working condition. The tires are old, hold her all the loser slowly over time. They will all need to be replaced. The transmission shifts through all of the gears just fine.

> ELECTRICAL-- All of the electrical works excluding the following: left turn signal light, the license plate light on the back door, cargo door light on step, and the windshield wipers. The lights are most likely just the bulbs which I have not checked. Other than that all of the lights works exterior and interior. There are six interior prom lights throughout the roof area. The windshield wiper sprayer works, horn, emergency brake light, etc. As shown in the photo there is a CB radio and a tape deck player mounted in the roof, they are well placed and look great although I did not get them to turn on. There are chrome speakers throughout the van that look to be in great condition, because I haven't gotten the radio/tape player on I was unable to test them.
>
> EXTERIOR-- The exterior is in good, original condition. As you can see there is a dent on the left front and a few surface rust areas but other than that it is straight. The paint is original and looks good, the roof has some peeling but you can't really see it from the ground. The bumpers are straight and have nice chrome with minimal surface rust spots. The undercarriage is rust free and dry. Both of the windows roll down and the vent wing windows work. The rod to hold up the engine hood is missing, other than that everything seems to be complete.

> INTERIOR-- The interior as you can see, is very detailed, original, and just looks sweet! Overall the interior is in great to excellent condition. There are only minor flaws that could use attention. The material around the skylight and cargo door handle needs to secured or stitched back in. There are a few light spots of staining that could be addressed also. I have vacuumed it out but I have not used any shampoo or cleaning products. All of the pillows look really good, although some show worn spots on one side and one needs about 3" of seam stitched. The carpet on the motor cover has some fade in the color. Both of the front seats swivel are in great condition. The table is not bolted to the floor because I don't have the hardware. The Christmas tree came with the van when I purchased it, the new owner gets it too.
>
> OVERALL-- A great original 70s van needing only minor work to be roadworthy. I have a clear title in my name, starts up and motor sounds great. Will need new tires, water pump and basic maintenance to be roadworthy. Has aftermarket air conditioning and very rare diamond tuck interior.
