Dodge Charger 1972 Description
You are bidding on TWO cars. This is a project bundle. Both cars are 1972 Dodge Charger SE cars with 318 CID engines. Both are full vinyl top style coupes. Both appear to have ALL trim pieces. All the glass is good in both cars. The primary car is the Blue/Black car. When I bought the car, it had with surface rust. I treated with POR/Tannic Acid type of rust reformer. I then covered with a black primer. There doesn't appear to be recurrence of surface rust after almost 2 years. Refer to the pictures for the progress through the process. The 318 is locked up. Several body panels would best be replaced.Enter the "parts" car, the orange car. The parts car has exterior body panels that would be good to replace the panels most difficult to repair on the primary car. Additionally, there are two aftermarket rear quarter panel sheet metal and one OEM passenger side rear quarter as well as a replacement rear valence/roll pan. The 318 in the "parts" car runs. I have connected a battery and have started the car myself. I can do it again when you pick it up.
There are two complete, albeit rough, interiors, one blue, one black. You can easily put a car together and have plenty of spare parts to sell to your MOPAR buddies and help subsidize your project. Parts of the passenger side floorboards and the trunk floor will likely need to be replaced. Aftermarket sheet metal is easily available and affordable for this vintage MOPAR B-body.
I have clear SC title for primary car. I have KY title and last KY registration for parts car. I have BOS from the eBay seller I purchased car from. He is looking for his BOS from the owner who last had it titled in KY (to show entire purchase documentation). Since I was using it for parts, I wasn't too concerned about titling it. The buyer gets ALL paperwork I have. I have best described the condition of the cars. These are a project bundle. As I said, my plan was to complete one good car from what I have with parts were remaining to sell and offset some costs. I've less time than I planned on and I decided to cut the cord before having two piles of MOPAR parts.
