Dodge Other Pickups 1951 Description

Selling my '51 Dodge B3-B 1/2 ton truck. It runs, drives (not road worthy), shifts, and stops. Has the optional Dodge Fluid drive transmission which works well. I found this in a barn from a family who bought it in the 1960's from the original owner. The engine has been rebuilt and runs exceptionally well. Truck will start immediately on a very cold day without the choke and doesn't miss a beat. This is the way I found it. I gave it a tune-up, oil change and fresh gas. Awesome truck! I also replaced the seat cover, installed the sound insulator, floor mat, wheel cylinders, and brake pads. The only rust on the truck that I can find is on the fenders - see photos. The floor inside the cab is great - no rust. The wood bed is damaged and should be replaced. If you are planning to buy, it needs to be towed home because the tires are at least 30 years old. Glass is all good, horn works great (very loud) and the gauges all appear to work. The front lights work and the rear lights did work, but now do not seem to work. I installed a new 8 Volt battery and all the wires and electrical wiring are in great condition. I believe everything is original and the vin # on the block matches the title. The truck was originally blue as you can see from the interior photos, but was painted green at some point. I do not specialize in Dodge trucks, so if you require further specifics please let me know. I do have more photos, if you wish. If you need time to get shipping arranged, I have no problem storing the truck for a pre-set time...please ask before bidding. I also have no problem selling to any international bidders as long as the funds have been deposited first and time has passed for money to clear. Thanks!
