A very fair "Buy it now" or just bid on it. I have far more into the car than the buy it now so someone is going to get a nice buy.
300. paypal deposit due immediately at auction end.
Well guys this is a fun very SOLID California car. I bought this last year and need to move some money around soregretfully it needs to find a new home.
THIS CAR HAS NOT EVER HAD ANY ROT REPAIRS ON THE FLOORS, FRAME OR BODY PANELS.
IT IS A VERY STRAIGHT CAR LOOKING DOWN THE SIDES.
THE UNDERSIDE HAS 44 YEAR OLD UNDERCOATING ON IT.
If someone took the time to paint the underside with black paint it would be amazing looking.
As i say i bought this when it was in California and has only been in the north since last year. Although I'm in Connecticut I have not driven the car in any poor weather or bad roads so it has never seen salty roads. The car is a 318 V8 with factory A/C. It has an amazing sounding motor. No skips or ticks.(i'm told it's the original but never checked any numbers.) The transmission shifts great and has finger tip power steering and power disc brakes. The car doesn't like the northern cold as it's alittle fussy when cold but runs fine when warmed up. It has dual exhaust that sounds nice. The interior shows very nice. The left front door panel has a poor area from the elderly gentleman hitting it with his shoe getting in and out of the car. The chrome is exceptionally nice for the age. I had a new vinal top put on it. I had some nice paint put on it as the old paint was faded out. It's a base/coat clear that is very pretty. I only really see one very small paint drip that's minor on thebottom part of the rear left quarter. Not real noticeable unless your looking for it. Otherwise this body and paint is beautiful.
The car could still use some tlc but not anything real major. Things like the outside lights seem to work ok but the signals don't blink Also I can hear the wiper motor working but the wipers don't move. Also the climate control doesn'tseem to blow out like maybe the fan. The original am radio works but hard to hear, maybe speaker?A great car if you can dial in a few things and maybe take the car to the next level. I also never did a front alignment since these tires went on so you may choose to do that.
Was owned by an elderly gentleman for most of it's life.
as usual, vehicle sold as is condition. I believe ebay offers an affordableinspection for anyone interested. The miles read 49,718 which i'm guessing has been over with the age.
- WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW ONE OF THE CARS WITH A V8, FACTAIR CONDITIONING, POWER STEERING AND POWER DISC BRAKES ALONG WITH A SOLID ORIGINAL BODY ????
All in all a fun car but not a 50,000.00 dollar flawless museum piece, more of a fun driver car.If you are analplease look at one of those high dollar rides.
THIS WOULD BE AN EASY CAR TO TAKE TO THE NEXT LEVEL !
Feel free to ask questions but before bidding,, Not after....
I used this car on a transport plate so I never registered it. I will give the new owner the California title I received with the car that was just signed and given to me. You can fill in your nameas the buyer toget plates. Please be sure you are aware of this and it works for you before bidding.
