Dodge Charger 1973 Description

Bought this 1973 Dodge Charger SE about 8 years ago off a friend of mine who had a bad heart and even though he got a pace maker, his doctor told him that he should not drive under any conditions. I bought the car at a good price to help him out. I am from the old school and not pricing the car to make a killing, but just a small profit. Guess you could say I am passing it on, because, because I am now dealing with a serious health problem myself. Up for bids for the first is this 1973 Dodge Charger Special Edition with 400 high High performance single stock four barrow engine and R/T suspension. It has a factory stock 727 three speed automatic torqueflite transmission. It is equipped with Slap Stick Factory floor shifter mounted in the center consol. It's factory pure white original Interior is in excellent condition and looks brand new. It also has new white wall tires (the right size for the seventy's.) (2 inch white) It has Radio and Heater, plus Air Condition. All number on the car match just like it came from the factory. It also has 15 inch Dodge factory Rally wheels and Rally racing mirrors. The complete body is rust free. Like I previous mentioned I bought the car 8 years ago and it looked really good back then, however the years in the sun had taken it's toll though the years dulling it's factory original bright metallic dark green shine on the hood and trunk lid. When I opened the trunk the underside of the trunk lid beautifully showed me what the car looked like when if first came from the factory, a beautiful metallic dark green paint. Since at that time I had no plans to sell the car, I had the entire car stripped down and painted that same exact beautiful stock metallic dark green color and added a few coats of clear coat paint to make sure it did not lose it's factory brand new dark green metallic color. With the factory R/T hood in white and the factory white side sports trim both were replaced it all seem to come together with the new big white wall tires. The Charger looked so good with it gleaming dark green metallic green pain and it's like brand new gleaming white interior that it made the factory original roof look just a little dull, so I had them replace the Factory vinyl roof with the same white factory roof. The rear Factory trunk lid spoiler was retained and installed back on the trunk, it looks factory fresh with it's stock factory sports stripe replace with exact factory brand new ones. The Charger looked as good if not better then it looked when it rolled off the assembly line brand new. There is a very small dent in the front bumper and the air condition needs hooked up. The factory air condition parts are a in the trunk and need to be reinstalled. Previous owner said to have the compressor rebuilt they told him it would be 4 to 6 weeks at that time, so his brother-in-law who owns a garage changed the belts and pulleys so the car could be driven until the compressor was rebuilt and returned to him.---yes, he kept all the original parts and put them in the trunk. I never really got around to putting them back on, it was always something I was going to do next week. The radio antenna was removed when the car was repainted and needs to be installed. As a bonus a factory aluminum 3/2 manifold for the HP 400 engine is included with the factory air cleaner and the filter are included with the car. Never got around to buying the carbs for it.
