Dodge Challenger 1970 Description
For Sale is a 1970 Dodge Challengerwith a 440 CI Engine and a 727 Torque Flight, SlapstickTransmission, (440 Clone Car)I am helping an old high school friend sell this car and he believes he is the second owner of the car. I remember the car from the early 80's.
Some high points
* Only 46000 Original miles
* The car has no RUST issues other than light surface rust
* No major damage to original tin, with exception of drivers side rear fender, tire blow out and bad repair work
* Hood is original but the dummy first owner put the wrong hood scoop on it
* All floor pans are solid with no rust issues
* Seats are complete and easily rebuild able
* All window glass is present, but.... Windshield is cracked beyond repair
* The car ran when it was parked in 1983
* The 440 Big Block Motor is complete (Casting Number on block440 EEHP)
* The 727 Torque Flight Transmission is complete
* The car has a Dodge 9" rear end
Some Low Points
* Has not run since parked in 1983
* Missing the radiator and has damage to front valance due to hitting a bank and pushing the bottom of the radiator into the fan, which was why the car was parked, drove my other cars and never got around to fixing it,
* The car was parked outside, however in high desert conditions
* The car is missing the window trim, and side reflectors
Overall the car is in pretty solid shape and the owner will take or return all phone calls PST 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at 530-841-0936oremail him firstat tacalvery@gmail.com, and he will return your calls. I have tried to list the highs and lows and put a lot of photos on her for you to look at, however I would encourage any interestedbuyers to contact Tony and fire your questions at him, as he has owned the car since 1981 and knows it inside and out.
As all the MOPAR owners know, these cars are getting harder and harder to find and the project cars are getting even harder to find so here's your chance to finally get you hands on one at a reasonable price, as we have set a fairly low reserve.
GOOD LUCK and feel free to contact TONY with any questions. This car is located in California near the Oregon Border
