Dodge Charger 1966 Description

I am selling my son's car. We purchased this car two years ago from the family of the original owner to enjoy Father/Son time tinkering and local driving excursions. My son is now heading off to university.
This Charger is a true California SURVIVOR. The car was originally sold to a resident of South Lake Tahoe, A garaged in a mild, ry climate. We have the original Chrysler warranty Certi-Card and Car Production Broadcast sheet documenting original build configuration.
The Charger runs extraordinarily well on its original 383 Four Barrel engine and drive train with 727 Automatic and 8-3/4" Sure-Grip rear axle. Car had 83,433 miles when we purchased it and the odometer currently reads 85,458.
The color of the car is ZZ-1, etallic Gold with matching Gold interior.
The car will easily cruise at 75 miles per hour on highways, t a comfortable engine temperature of 190 degrees. As typical for cars of the era, t runs hotter in slow traffic situations in hot weather, ut cools right down to operating temps when moving. It came equipped from the factory with the large 26" radiator which is still in the car with factory stampings. We wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. The vehicle does NOT blow smoke while driving or under hard acceleration. It does blow a puff of white smoke on starts. Must occasionally add a little bit of oil. Transmission oil has always been clean.
This car is an excellent cruiser for Reno Hot August Nights.
There is no rust anywhere on the car.
Body and frame are straight with no evidence of prior moving collision. There are two areas on the car that have experienced damage in low-speed parking impacts by the aging original owner. The original front passenger-side fender is damaged at the door seam. That fender has been replaced, ut comes with the car. There are minor dents on the door and cowl panel at the seams near that fender. The rear passenger-side corner was damaged in a minor back-up impact, owever the repair is poor quality. There are paint chips and minor dings on other body panels. All original trim is intact. A member of the original family member sprayed random spots of primer on the car for no meaningful reason. We have touched-up those areas with matching paint.
The interior is in exceptional original condition. All original interior pieces are in-place and in excellent condition. The headliner, oor panels, nd trim are nearly perfect original condition. We replaced the front seat covers with Legendary OEM style covers. The carpet is original with very low wear. The dash pad has a split.
Tires and brakes are nearly new.
The only original missing parts are the intake manifold, arburetor, nd air cleaner which were replaced by original owner with Edelbrock components.
