Perfect Original 1970 Challenger Stitched3 Speaker Dash Pad.
One of the Most Desirable High Impact Color Combinations,Plum Crazy FC7 and White.
All Numbers Matching, Engine, Transmission, Door VIN, Dash VIN, Fender Tag, Rad Support Number, Cowl Number. Comes with Factory Build Sheet, and Galen Govier Chrysler RegistryCredentialsand Build Sheet Decode, #68 of 163 in the Registry. Also some service records are included.
The car has an olderamateur paint and restoration that replaced thequarters and trunk pan, it was not done factory concourse correct. Aftermarket parts were used in the restoration, not NOS. Vehicle has some incorrect parts compared to the build sheet and used parts for a 71 and up E-Body. The previous owner told me that the engine was recently rebuilt but it does have a rear engine seal oil leak (common on older Mopars). Newer 15" Rallye Wheels and Tires, 70' Chrome Mirrors, Wheel Opening Moldings, Seat Covers, and Gas Tank. It needs the idler arm replaced and the Clock is not working. The car does need some TLC but it is a fairly desirable rare e-body convertible in one of the coolest Challenger colors with some rare options. Currently it is a daily driver grade vehicle, not a concourse show car. Acceptable for smaller general carenthusiastlocal shows. I have not driven the car more than 10 miles since I purchased it last fall.
Would be a great car if someone wants to take the time to restore it correctly. Not a lot of documented numbers matching plum crazy 1970 Challenger R/T convertibles left in the world, especially with a factory build sheet.
