You are looking at a 1947 dodge brothers pick up, its titled as a 1948 Dodge. It was built as a restomod using a Dodge Dakota donor vehicle. It was built by a Dodge dealer in South Carolina and was on display for 11 year in the showroom. When the bottom fell out of the market several years ago the dealership was closed and the truck was sold. It has been driven a little over 5,000 since the work was done. It is an older restoration, but really looks good and drives good. The new owner installed Vintage a/c and built a console in the floor for two cup holders and a modern day blu tooth stereo. The paint and body is very good I would rate it an upper driver/show quality paint. If you look real close you can see some small flaws in the paint, but overall real good. The 318 mopar motor has a good sound when you accelerate, its not a tire smoking powerhouse but a reliable power plant, the rack and pinion steering makes in feel like a modern day driver. The seat is moved all the way back and the fuel tank us under the truck. This allows for more interior room, these early trucks had small cabs. The man that owned it was a large man and he rubbed the weather strip in the driver's side whenever he got out of the truck. I took it to a local Friday Night cruise in and it ran real good, the suspension has been lowered and does not allow for any heavy pay load in the bed. It was a real crowd pleaser, I could not figure out how to work the radio, it has a remote, Im not smart enough. I feel like this truck will sell fast, with its classic good looks, modern drive train and cold A/C it will make someone proud to have it.
