Dodge Other 1983 Description
This is a super nice original Mirada that was stored indoors since 1991. The original and only owner was a good friend of mine and the title is clear and still in his name signed by his estate. I bought the car a few years ago. When we got it home I siphoned out the old gas, made sure the lines were clear put in new gas and a new battery, checked the radiator and the car started right up. The oil is clean but should be changed. I replaced the front calipers, pads and turned the rotors. The car drives and runs like it is still new. The tires are original and have decent tread but are dry rotted some and should only be used for show. The car was stored un-coveredin a building with a lot of stuff so the paint has various scratches and dings all over. The paint is deep and has good shine and is all original and in my opinion looks very good and should not be re-painted. I hand polished it after washing the dust off it but a good buffing would do a better job. The carpet, headliner, interior, dash and gauges all look new. The drivers seat has some stains and use but no tears anywhere. No way to get a nicer original interior. Car is dark brown with beige leather. The engine compartment still has 33 years of dust on it but is still like it left the factory except the battery and the smog pump belt was removed back in the day. I have not polished the wheels but you can see they still look good. The bumper fillers / quarter extensions were falling apart so I bought new fiberglass replacements that are included with the car. Has the original spare and jack. The engine has a little rough idle, might need plugs. The original 318 engine runs smooth when driving. No rust anywhere. This is a great deal on an original paint survivor car. Come by and look at the car anytime. Payment in full by Paypal or bank draft within 24 hours of auction end or cash on pick-up. If you want to pay cash I would need a 200.00 deposit throughPayPal within 24 hours of auction ending. I would then like the balance within 7 days of auction ending or I will need to re-list. If you pay in full after the auction I will store the car inside for you until you can come get it.Call with questions after 6 at 423-585-7638. Thanks.
