Dodge Dart 1964 Description

Greetings, Here is a running driving shifting and stopping 1964 Dodge Dart GT convertible.
-Needs body work and some rust repair on rear floor boards.-Trunk is decent, sub frames are decent, rockers look good also, front floor pans are decent. Quarter panels in rear need replacement (driver side has a patch).-Front passenger fender was replaced a few years ago and matched some what in color.-Drivers fender is rusted through, but I have a good looking one for that side. Also have some original 13" rims 5 total (one is in the trunk).-Car is currently running on small bolt pattern 14" rims and dart caps from the 70's.-Also has 14" spare with new tire in trunk.-Recent brakes, drums and lines. -I rebuilt half of the front end suspension and will include the drivers side parts to finish the job.-Also included are some spare parts and some new parts including: new rear axle bearings and seals, new rear e brake cables, a sway bar kit from AADCO-New motor mounts, a new trans mount, the original am radio, the original washer bag holder, a spare wiper switch, an original fan spacer and a few other items.-I replaced the park cable a few months ago and now tranny doesn't leak as much, when it sits for a week or so the trans leaks a bit, but when you drive it it does not leak very much at all.-Mileage is estimated at 43000 and pedals looked like a 43000 car, when I purchased it, but body did not. Speedo cable broke a few weeks back and I couldn't find one.-Gauges work some times (think it needs a new circuit board). Signals work, as do all lights, except interior lights and instrument lights.-Steering is decent, front tires a little rough on inside edges. I put those on before the suspension work so they suffered a little. Rear tires are almost new.-Has a recent new gas tank, 2 years ago. Brand new convertible top kit, with window, is in the box. Top mechanism works fine and is the rare manual type.-This car was ordered without back up lights and has the chrome back up delete plates, another rare item.-Interior held up pretty well for its age and looks presentable. Rear lower seat is rusty and aluminum sill plates are beat up.-Has new 3 row aluminum radiator and has not overheated at all. Newer hoses, oil and filter are fresh, distributor was rebuilt a few months back.-Car has a kinda rough idle, when warm but runs very strong with no smoke or raps. Carb is a little funky when starting hot, it acts like its flooded and after pushing pedal all the way and turning the engine over a few times it always starts. Recent timing chain, six months ago.-This is a semi daily driver and have had this car several years and its been reliable. Comes with a year of manufacture 1964 nc plate.-Check photos for all the included spare parts and new parts. This is your chance to drive a vintage mopar as is or fix it up to your motoring standards. If you have questions or would like to see more pictures, just let me know. Thanks!
