1940 ford woodie- this is a nice older restoration on the most sought after ford woodie of all of em--.THE 40 FORD DELUXE-- 40 fords are the hot ones and this is a good example. it is an older restoration which has been well kept.. it has a repaint and most of its original wood. this car runs and drives good. it has an original 40 ford motor but I am not sure if it is the born with motor but I believe it to be? not sure how to verify. my neighbor is a flathead guy and he said it was? the paint is nice on the car with a few blemishes from normal years of use and driving.i estimate the paint at about 25 yrs or so. it is the 40 ford maroon withbrown interior.it has ford script white walls on the stock rims with deluxe 40 caps and rings.car has a new gas tank and line and a 6 volt electric pump and the mechanical pump also. it has a smitty glass pack on the exhaust system but is very quiet. it has 2 new lower radiator hoses also. it is missing the sun visors inside and the speedometer and oil gauge are not working. pretty sure it needs a cable on the speedometer .heater was removed years ago and has tape covering the holes on the firewall. all glass is good and operating. car has all 3 seats with nice upholstery. top is decent and has the original drip rails. wipers move when you hit the switch but are weak and to be honest, they weren't very good when new. that's what rainex is for!! sheetmetal and floorpan are as nice as youd want to find with one small repair right above the master cylinderand the frame is also very nice and unpitted. brakes are recent with new flex hoses, cylinders and shoes drivers door has had a piece of wood spliced into it years ago that is ok but some may want to change it or try to do it a little better. I have other pictures I can send or call and I can discuss. all 4 doors open and close very easily .ive tried to be upfront and honest about the car so there are no surprises. I welcome phone calls or inspections. got nothing to hide. this is an affordable 40 ford woodie that can be enjoyed as is or converted to a street rod very cheap and easy. most 40 ford woodies are usually 80 to 150 thousand and are out of reach for most.I have a low affordable reserve as I am motivated to sell the car. im sure I have forgot something.
