FORD GALAXIE 500 XL-1964 CONVERTIBLE.I bought the car 2010 through Ebay from Texas.It was in really nice driver condition. It has won Junior AACA 2005 for the previus owner. I drove the var as it was the först summer.Late in the fall of 2011 i started the renovation that took three years to perform. The car was picked apart and made clean sheet. The original engine i shoose to drilled from 352 to 390. Original 4 bbl carburator was renovated. The cylinder head was made so that can run on unleaded.Fenders,doors and all other smaller pieces bathed in the solution that took away all the rust and paint. Then was everything painted with two komponent Epoxy primer. Because i want that the car would be as comfortable as possible i was extra careful to add extra sound deadening.
