Ford Galaxie 1966 Description

This is a neat California 1966 Ford Country Sedan Station Wagon project with an absolutely straight. rust free body and chassis. The original 289 engine has been removed but the C4 transmission. drive line and desirable Ford 9 inch rear end are all original and in place. This is a factory AC car and the compressor is still with the car. All the glass is good with no cracks. the car still has the original Wimbledon White paint and red interior. Absolutely no body work has been done to this car so there's no bondo. AND NO RUST TO REPAIR. The rusty areas you see in the photos are all superficial with NO PITTING. The body is nearly perfect except for a small ding in front of the right rear fender as seen in photos and video which is minor. The floor boards are rust free with fresh looking original white paint as seen in the photos. The rust you see in the photos is all superficial rust with no cancer anywhere guaranteed. I know because I originally bought this car to build it for myself. not to sell it. This car has been in CA and has a clear CA title on non-op. No DMV back fees. Aside from the 289 being removed. the car has not been picked apart at all. The doors don't sag. the tail gate opens both ways and all the windows work. Tires are junk. Bumpers are straight. grille is straight. rocker mouldings are straight. The dark spots in photo of the inside of the spare tire well shows dirt over the white paint not rust. Wagons are popular. This is the ultimate foundation for a wagon restoration or build with an honest rust free car. My reserve is really low with the intention of allowing the next person plenty of room to buy it. get it transported and revive it. In addition to the auction photos. please check out my walk around video of the car at http://youtu. be/to1-n5beBKo Also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction for a local cash sale. Email with any questions or additional info needed. Please don't bid unless you plan to buy the car. I've had to pay for two previous listings where the buyer backed out of the deal after winning the auction. This car can be bought for less than $1. 00. 00 Dan
