Ford Mustang 1966 Description

1966 Ford Mustang GT350S Tribute car.I have always wanted one of these GT350S Mustangs, ut could never afford one, o I built my own. This car was built with original or reproduction Shelby parts. This Mustang started life as a California C code car, nd was turned into a basic GT350 tributein the early 2000's.In the early 2000'sitwas completely restored, edia blasted down to bare metal and all imperfections fixed. The person I bought the Mustang from had done a few modifications to the car, ike addinga stereo and torque thrust wheels. I bought the Mustang and had fun with the car for a couple of years, ntil this summer.

This summerI replaced the stock 289 iron heads with new Edelbrock aluminum Performer heads, n original Cobra hi rise aluminum intake manifold, ew quick performance715cfm carb, riginal rebuilt Paxton supercharger set up for the GT350Sand carb box, ew water pump, ew starter, ew MSD ignition box and newcoil, oller tip rocker arms, ew ISKY solid lifter camshaft, ifters, ushrods, newMallory Distributor, obra 7qt T oil pan.The car is also equipped with a newTremec 5 speed trans, rand new Strange 9 inch nodular center section, :70 gear ratio with a Detroit locker, 1 spline axles, ew big bearing 9 inch housing, nd Ford 11 reardrum brakes. The front brakes are SSBC Disc brakes with new rotors and pads. I alsosub framed the car, nd relocated the battery to thetrunk.Back seat wasremoved and replaced with a fiberglass shelf, I also addedbrand newShelby 17" 10 spoke wheels with new tires. Whew!! There are plenty of other things done to the car during my summer of fun! We can discuss the other things I replaced if you are interested. I just pointed outall the go fast goodies.

The Mustang has 2 imperfections. A small dent above the drivers door and a small spot of bubbling paint behind the right rear wheel. I can send pictures of these areas.

I have a stack of receipts going back to the restoration of the carin the early 2000'sall the way up to all the current work I have done.

This car is a blast to drive and have fun with at carshows or cruises! You will not be disappointed.
