Ford Falcon 1964 Description

1964 FORD FALCON FUTURA CUSTOM - 347 STROKER
I bought this car banged up, s a salvage car in AZ. It was a southern califorina car. And is / was rust free.. I believe the the previous owner built it with all new parts, hen lost control and crashed it. I bought it to use the drive train in another car, ut once home.. I seen the damage was not that bad. And the fact that it is rust free. Nice floor, anels and frame. And the miles show 46k, o I had it repaired. I Never really finished it.

I recently moved to FL, nd brought the car with me in in a cargo trailer packed with my stuff.. well the boxes and everything fell on the car and did some damage in spots around the car.. see pics. Plus, he body guy said he could/would repair the fiberglass hood.. he did a terrible job.. so I say it needs a hood, nd I would realign the fender to the new hood. See pics. I knew I should have replaced it, ut the guy convinced me to repair it.. He got the money .. I got a junky hood. I do think a good fiberglass guy can repair it.. after all it just fiberglass.. but may be more cost effective to just replace it.

Car runs awesome.. Sounds like a race car.. big cam.. lumpy.. tin can type sound. There is a small exhaust leak somewhere. I can hear the tick from it… you may not hear it. I was going to tackle the job, ut now have decided to sell. If this hangs around a bit.. I will get it done, nd drive it this winter.Sell it in the spring..

My 70 year old father was driving the car a little .. for a few months, efore I decide to sell.. and is why I brought the car with me to begin with..or I would have just sold it in the southwest with the other cars I had there.

Car runs and drives great. Drive it anywhere. Although gas milage is not very good. I believe the rear gear ratio to be in the 4.11 range. But I really don’t know. There is a currie tag on the rear end, ’m sure you can call them with the number. I don’t think there is overdrive either. Pretty sure this car was built to get up and go fast… Not drive on the highways. I’ve had many cars .. including High perferformace big blocks.. I think because this car is so light.. and I expect the HP ito be in the 450 range.. She gets up and goes with the best of them. Speedo is not hooked up. The aftermarket gauges all work. Oi, emp, pm, oltage, hift light.

Interior looks new. But that is how I received it. Even the dash looks new. It does have a small tear in the driver seat. And has racing style seat belts.

Car still need some finishing.. or not, rive as is.. Hood hinge springs, oor springs, tere, ntenna to be installed ( included ). Shifter cover.. I’m sure there is some more little stuff like this. Minor tinkering stuff.

I don’t know much more than what I listed.. but ask questions and I will try to get you answers. I really don’t need to sell the car.. just thinking I’d like a newer sports convertible car maybe.. My working on the classics is over I think.. I've lost my motivation.

It is reccommended that you come and view the car.. just give me shout and will get you the address and details..
