Ford Galaxie 1971 Description

1971 Ford LTD 2 door - 429 big block car. Original 2 bbl. 429-2v 320 hp. 460 ft lb torque (factory rated)
Car is an original Tennessee car and is still here. Located in Nashville. Very little rust, ainly under the Original Vinyl top.
Original paint...top was white and has been painted black...everything else is original..grill was blacked out.
New shocks all around, ew wheels 15x10 rear with new tires 275 60's cobras (white letters on inside)
New wheels up front 15x8 with new tires 245 60's Cooper cobras as well..(white letters turned inside also) wheels and tires have maybe 300 miles on them. New lugs all around.
New sway bar drop links.
Interior is all original with the exception of new carpet and a vintage Fm transmitter..everything works except clock. Radio and transmitter both work well. Driver seat bottom shows some wear.
New passenger window motor. All 4 power windows work.
Under the hood is the original drive train. 429 big block 2 barrel car. Runs great..always starts up. Could use a good day in the garage if you want to freshen it up....Everything looks pretty original. Leaks a little coolant when parked ( I believe it may be the radiator end tank and possibly one of the old hoses on the firewall.) This just started after I covered it for winter.
Transmission shifts well...Exhaust is dualed out and sounds great!
( Will need a new AC compressor..belt squeals when you turn it on. ) Heat works great..
Will come with some new front 2" drop springs from Moog.
Great project car....drive it while you work on it. I took it out quite a bit this Summer and Fall...Has been under a cover most of the winter ( I wish i had room in the garage for it).
Gets tons of looks and thumbs up...everyone wants to talk about the old Ford... =)
