Ford Mustang 1967 Description
You are bidding on a 1967 Mustang S Code Fastback. This is an original 390-4V V-8, four speed car. The original color was Dark Moss Green and came equipped with a black vinyl seat interior. The build date for this car was 11/23/66. The VIN is located on both front fender aprons as well as on the driver’s side door. I have a deluxe Marti Report on the car. This Mustang was last registered in 1987, soon thereafter it was disassembled and it sat that way until I purchased it. The car is in need of a complete restoration, currently it is a roller. The front floor sections are rusted and need replaced. The rockers and frame rails look very good. The original doors are rusted on the bottom and three additional doors are included with the car. The hood is an over the counter replacement with a Ford part number and a stamped date of Nov. 1971. The original turn signal wiring is present on the hood. There are many parts included that were original to the car as the images will show. There are also a number of NOS parts with Ford part numbers stamped on them. The original black interior is mostly complete with the bucket seats, rear fold down seat, trap door, door panels and rear seat plastic panels. The headliner bows are present but the headliner and rug are both gone. The bumpers, original Prestolite fog lights, and most exterior window pieces are present. The windshield is good but appears to not be original, the back glass has the original CarLite stamp on the bottom left corner. This car was delivered with GT Equipment Group, Sports Deck Rear Seat, Exterior Décor Group, White Paint Stripes, Deluxe Seat Belts, and F 70-14 Wide Oval Tires. There is no transmission included but what appears to be the original four speed shifter, shift rods, and hardware are present. The z-bar, fork, throwout bearing, and both engine side and frame side z-bar brackets come with the car. The original motor is not included but another block, heads, and intake manifold go with the car. I was told that they came from another S code Mustang which a previous owner secured in the early 1980’s. The block has a date code 6M12, the C7AE-E heads have a date code of 6M16, the intake is a big S with date code of 6M13. These parts appear to be from the same engine. There are numerous boxed parts along with the doors, hood, repair panels, and exterior lighting. The car rolls but will have to be winched onto a transporter. There are too many parts, both boxed and loose, to be put into the car for transport so the winning bidder must take this into account when arranging transportation.
The door data tag is as follows:
Body-63A, Color-Y, Trim-2A, Date- 03L, DSO-43, Axle-1, Trans-5VIN-7F02S115224
