Ford F-150 1976 Description

I bought this truck for the purpose of having something that would be rugged and long lasting. Yes its almost 40 years old and is not perfect. With some mechanical aptitude and a little TLC this truck made even better than it is. Its a good strong running Ford with a 390 that has be made to run better with the removal of the 2bbl carb and intake and addition of an edelbrock aluminum intake and summit racing 4bbl carb (don't know exact specs on carb size but it runs well so that's all I can tell you). 4sp transmission believe it to be a NP435 transmission with a granny low 1st gear with an approximate ratio in 1st of 6.90:1. The exhaust is factory until you get to a dual glass pack setup which is cut off directly after them so that's about mid-truck not the best exhaust would consider replacing but gets the job done. Runs and drives exceptionally well. Was used to haul logs by the gentleman I bought it from. Comes with brand new plugs, ires, ap and rotor, ir filter, il filter, alvoline 10W40 oil, rand new felpro black rubber valve cover gaskets and gasket adhesive since the current valve cover gaskets have failed. Truck starts up really well. Still on the mechanical fuelpump. Had numerous plans to upgrade this truck but joined the military and have since moved and the truck is sitting with my father-in-law and really just need to have it find a new and better home. Has federal 33x12.50x15" mud tires sitting on some American racing wheels. Has new warn lock-out hubs installed. Has a steering stabilizer out front.
