Ford Thunderbird 1955 Description

White with white interior black soft top only. Supposed to be a one owner car. Although we did not meet him personally we have the old Arizona title see pictures. Rust free body and undercarriage see pictures stored for many years in Ariz, nd Florida both. Paint is old, ut cool patina. Cracking is evident throughout entire body. Motor appears to be 312 v8 from 1957 runs well carb may need attention it shuts down from time to time and you must pump it 5--7 times to restart the car. The brakes have new wheel cylinders and master cylinder but old hardware should be replaced. All the large med and small chrome and stainless is on the car and is in good shape, ome very good, ome just fair. Top is off the car but in nice shape except rubbers should be replaced. The car runs and drives well no missing smoking etc. Trans is wet under car we think seal is leaking. We purchased the car as is 2 weeks ago and have driven it around to the beach maybe 35 miles total. Clock and speed o not working however power steering power windows and power seat all work, eat sticks sometimes. Body is straight paint is old some repairs look to have been done many years ago by rear quarter panels and up near the hood pass side inside engine compartment. We are not T Bird experts but the numbers say it was turquoise from the factory now white on white. Fender shirts and hardtop are somewhere in Arizona good luck with this but soft top is nice. Tires are new white wall radials with new baby moons. A small box of parts and the original hubcaps where in the trunk. This is not a show car. It is a fair to good driver quality car. It is EXTREMELY CUTE and seems to have had a great history behind it by looking closely at the car. The lucky buyer can drive this car home however we would strongly recommend shipping it and going over the brake hardware and possibly the carb. Each time we start it and drive it around it runs better and better so its still waking up from many years of storage. We got a great buy on this Bird and have set a low reserve to ensure it gets sold quickly. We have also tried to describe the car to the best of our ability. We are happy to answer any questions you may have 904-624-1883 Mark. Again this is not a show car but so cute it will make you melt down. Yes we will stop the auction for the right sincere buyer.
