Ford Fairlane 1957 Description

1957 fairlane is a complete body off build. frame and body were both stripped and blasted to bare steel, all suspension was disassembled and all bushings were replaced. the 9" axle was fully rebuilt, all new bearings, seals. 3:89 posi Trac, the engine is a original 1970 429 cobra jet. it was stripped down hot tanked magnafluxed then bored .030 over, flat tops, original crank was polished and original rods, procomp aluminum heads roller rockers flat tappet hydraulic cam cj intake 750 cfm dual feed manual secondary msd 6al ignition built in Rev limiter Mallory unilite electronic distributor Howe aluminum rad electric fan crites performance 2" primary tube headers crites performance engine and Trans mounts. the body has new floors and rockers done right with proper panels . the quarter's, trunk floor etc are all original. doors are original and solid. fenders are original and solid. hood has been louvered, the interior has a custom gauge panel, front bucket seats and rear seat are from a 65 thunderbird all new glass. complete new painless wiring front to back. Custom made stainless steel tube grille, 1958 Edsel Bermuda station wagon tail lights, lots more I'm sure I'm forgetting to mention.

To answer some questions I have received regarding the car, this was purpose built as a hot rod,not a show car. DOES NOT have power steering,air cond,power windows or any other luxury features. It does have power disc/drum brakes. built for speed and looks of a traditional hot rod in satin black. You could not build this car for my reserve price, my loss is your gain. New project started and I have to make room. If you are interested in having anything changed or added to the car contact me and we can work that out after the sale, No changes or additions will be done without the minimum deposit being sent first. All changes are to the cost of buyer,I will not include any in the sale price,like I said you can not build this car for my reserve.
