Ford Model A 1931 Description
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS WELCOME! PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 805-8038 ANYTIME or (858) 755-5O44 AT THE SHOP FROM 9-6 TUESDAY-SUNDAY WITH ANY QUESTIONS. This is a very nice all Henry Ford steel 1931 Model A Hardtop pickup truck that has had a stock type restoration done and has been tastefully modified to be able drive anywhere. It is ready to enjoy today. You could not come close to building this truck for the money. It has been driven all over the country including trouble free road tours to Yosemite National Park and to the top of Pikes Peak! It starts right up with the turn of a key. The body is rust free and excellent. The Rock Moss Green paint is very nice and, while certainly not perfect, still looks great. It has small chips and cracks. It has a nice finish. In a couple of the pictures the paint looks different, but it is just the sun reflection in the photos. The black interior is stock and like new. All glass is very nice. Removable wooden bed sides, all American Flag mounts are included. Some of the modifications include: completely rebuilt stock style four cylinder engine 3000 miles ago, downdraft carburetor, Burns exhaust, all new babbit, rods, modern seal, virtually no oil leaks. Electronic ignition, 12 volt alternator and system, BF High performance head, Crowler cam, new Double AA radiator and AA shell (never overheats at all), V8 Bellhousing starter, clutch etc. One of the best mods is the Laycock overdrive which works perfectly. With one click of the button the RPMs drop by approximately 23% and makes it much more drivable even out on the freeway. 1939 Syncro three speed manual transmission, two new tires, two very good tires, Kelsey Hayes Bent Spoke 16" wheels from a 1932. New rear axle bearings, converted to hydraulic Juice brakes, CB radio. 17 gallon auxiliary tank plus 11 gallon cowl tank. The tank in the bed is hidden with a beautifully crafted wooden toolbox that is very functional. Electric fuel pump, battery and fuel pump kill switch, Stainless steel rear bumper (not chrome), additional LED brake light for safety, seat belts. Many extra parts are included with the sale. Clean, clear CA title in hand with current registration.Everybody loves this truck and so will you! I am located in Solana Beach, California in North County San Diego. Serious buyers only please.
