Ford Mustang 1970 Description

This is a 1970 mach 1 mustang with all original sheetmetal. i mean even the floors are original and have never been patched or replaced. the car was last on the road in 1987 according to the NC inspection sticker that is still on the windshield. I purchased the car from a guy who was having it restored and while it was at the body shop being striped of its original paint (black jade green) to bare metal the shaker and rear spoiler got stolen. with that being said he brought the car back home before it got painted. so the car is bare metal with primer over top and would need to be painted pretty quick. The only rust i see on the car that would need attention is the battery apron and the taillight panel on the right side under the taillight that is a repair that would be very ez fixed. The 351 engine is completely rebuilt and detailed for show, he said he spent $3500. just on the engine. I have bought a shaker for a 351 mustang and it is original and does come with the car, and yes its the real deal not a reproduction i paid $1800 for it. I do have all the interior including the gauges, dash, seats, and inside panels. It will need seats covered, new door panels, head liner, new dash pad and carpet. The transmission C4 he said was working and he was going to use it as is, but i would rebuild it since i know nothing about it and it has been setting for nearly 30 years, the rear end is a 9" and is geared 3:25, from what i see the car is only missing the bumpers and rear spoiler and all else looks to be there. This is probably the most solid and original panel car i have seen in a long time. The blacked out hood and deck lid was done at the body shop to show the owner at that time how it would look if he wanted the boss look. if you have questions concerning this car you can call me at 828-six8two-2772 and i will answer what i know.
