Ford Mustang 1966 Description
History of Car: I'm 4th owner. Car is from Houston, XI picked the car up from a farther son team who had it inpieces. The motor was out of the car and the interior was nonexistentamong other things. The interior (hasdynamat all over) is newer, ew wiring (harnessunder dash and firewall to engine), loor pans (3/4), owls, ave all been re-done to a certain level. The motor is a '65 block with a 302 crank and 68 heads. Its bored .30 over. All work was done by a machine shop inSedalia, O. A 30 year master mechanicfriend of mine and I built it from the block up. It has comp camvalve train with a FS 279T H-107 T Thumpr Cam. (Cam Card Attached). Hooker long tubes with Super 40s and 2.5 inch exhaust (I can email you video). The car runs, rives, hifts, tops and all exterior lights work. American Racing Rims. Air Gap Intake. American Radiator. Interior is near perfect, ew door panels and chrome. Kicker Rear speakers hooked up to classic MP3 iPhone connect radio. Goes down the road smooth with manual brakes and manual steering. C4 has never been touched, as a good leak for fluid and small vaccum leak...with the big cam, ou have to give it a little gas when shifting into drive and reverse especially when cold. Re-built motor has about 500 miles on it.I have a folder with hundreds of receipts from all the parts and work I have done on it.Below is what I would do to make the car perfect:It iscurrently a C4, ut I would Convert to 5 speed (T-5 is a good choice).Fix Battery Draw Issue (it will die if left hooked up over night and I don't know where the draw is, robably ignition).Replace Ignition switch (key is stuck in ignition, ut works, ust doesn't come out)Tune motor, djust timing (Might be a little advanced)Make Heaterblower work (not currently hooked up to power, ut installed in the car)Install Headliner (have rods and headliner)Install Front Kick panel speakers (currently no kickpanels)Adjust Starter so it doesn't skip (needs to beshimmed a little)Replace Fuel Line (comes with larger fuel line from CJ Pony Parts)Make Gauges work (Temp gauge and speedometer work)Analyze if radiator is large enough (Only seen it get hot at 95 degrees and 90humidity in traffic) Car has never over heated.Electric Fan SetupFront Disc BrakesI have clear title. Will accept trades. Family SUV or quad cab diesel truck. Let me know what youhave. Looking for a lesser value to pull some cash out of the deal. I have north of $11,000 in the car. Sold AS-IS nowarranty. I reserve the right to end auction at anytime. Buyer can arrange inspection and view the vehicle.
