Ford Fairlane 1955 Description

Reluctantly selling my 1955 Ford Club sedan cruiser. Super sanitary car that probably only has a few thousand miles sinceit's complete restoration. The body on the car is extremely clean and straight and rust free. The paint is near perfect and looks as nice as the pictures, it has had a few minor brush touch upshere and there. Thetinted glass is perfect and all rubber was replaced at the time of restoration. The interior isminty freshand as nice as it looks. It has a few aftermarket gauges under the dash to keep track of what's going on under the hood but otherwise looks original. The original tube radio worksgreat. It has the original 292 V8 2 barrel and it runs great. The motorhas good oil pressure and does not smoke it will drip a few drops of oil if it sits for a period of time. The car has full dual exhaust with glasspack mufflers and has the classic cruisertone. It has theFordomatictransmission and it works great. Thetrans does seep a little from the seals when it sit's for a period of time, it likes to be driven. The wide whites are like new and the brakes are freshwork as they should . There are a few pieces of stainlesstrim that were repaired and are not done perfectlythey aredriver qualitybut by no means hurt the look and can be replaced when you find perfect ones if you desire. The underside of the car is very clean and still has the factory old heavy undercoat that has been painted to look new. The original heater was removed by theprevious ownerto clean up the look under the hood, I never reinstalled it but I do have it (it only gets driven on nice days anyway so why bother going through the trouble)This car is clean and ready to cruise and show you wont be disappointed. If you want to talk to me about the car contact me for a phone number. Keep in mind I am in western NY and if You purchase the car and are getting it shipped You may want to consideran enclosed carrier. It would be a shame to haul the car on an open carrier through a snowstorm, this car hasn't seen rain since restoration.
