You are bidding to purchase the F100, ot to be the first to "look at it". Please have your funding in place prior to placing your bid. Thank you.
I am not a dealer, am a collector/hobbyist. I have owned more than 500 vehicles in my life, nd have been an eBay member since 2007. In that time, have sold approximately 50 of my vehicles on eBay. I always strive to honestly and accurately represent the condition of a vehicle. Unfortunately, here matters of used cars are concerned, ccasionally parties do not see eye to eye on the condition of a vehicle. Such a circumstance happened recently whereby a buyer purchased a 30 year old family Porsche. Initially, pon receiving the car, e stated that he was "overall pleased" with the car. Despite this declaration, e then proceeded to dissect the car ad nauseam.Notwithstanding this experience, now that the vast majority of people that have purchased my vehicles have consistently had their expectations exceeded.
I always offer and encourage pre-purchase inspections, rior to an auction concluding and will do my best to facilitate these inspections. The bottom line is that if a vehicle is not as described, ou don't have to purchase it.
Please consult with your spouse, herapist, et or MAGIC 8-BALL prior to placing your bid, s I am not running a clinic for the confused. Thank you.
Transportation and/or delivery is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
While I am confident that the F100 could be driven home safely to anywhere in America, do not advocate doing so. Older trucks are just that...old. Miles from home in an unfamiliar location is not the place to become acquainted with your "new" old truck. Get it home first. With that said...if you are determined to drive home, will gladly pick you up from the S.W. Florida International Airport in Ft. Myers.
Trailer delivery is possible within the lower 48 states for $1000.00. (non-negotiable)I can also recommend a reputable carrier for you if needed, nd will assist in coordinating pick up of the truck with your chosen carrier.
I have set a reasonable and fair reserve for the F100. It is commensurate with the condition of the truck, he ownership history, nd the present market. Do NOT ask me what the reserve is, s I will not disclose it. Bid what you can afford and are willing to pay for the exemplary condition 1960 FORD F100 that you see before you.The truck market has been heating up. The good news is that there is still time to secure a quality truck while they are affordable.
A $1000.00 initial payment is due and payable VIA PayPal within 24 hours of auction close. NO EXCEPTIONS. The balance is then due and payable within 7 days thereafter under condition and arrangement made between myself and the buyer. I prefer a legitimate bank to bank wire transfer for the balance, s it provides a documented record of the transaction for both parties. I will accept cash in person if you are to fly in and drive home, r coming to trailer the truck yourself, rovided that it is within the 7 days of full payment window. I will NOT accept PayPal for the entire purchase amount, nly the initial $1000.00 payment.
The truck and title will not be released until payment in full has been received. Upon receipt of payment in full, will overnight VIA FEDEX the sale documents to the new owner. If you are to fly in, will hand deliver these to you.
Clear Colorado title denoting ACTUAL miles. (provenance)
Given the age of the truck, y bidding you acknowledge that the truck is being sold in "as is" condition, ith no expressed, ritten or implied warranties. If you are "new" to eBay, ave 0% feedback or excessive negative feedback, ou will need to call me prior to placing your bid and express your intentions. If you do not call prior to bidding, our bid will be cancelled and you will be blocked from further bidding. These auctions cost money but more importantly, ime. I will not waste your time, lease do not waste mine.
Buyers from the U.S., anada, he UK, urope, ustralia and New Zealand are welcome and encouraged to bid with confidence.
eBay provides for only 24 pictures. I have selected pictures that best present a concise overview of the truck. If you would like any area specific pictures, imply ask for them.
I answer my phone quicker than I respond to e-mail. Call me directly with any questions. If you reach voice messaging, eave me a brief message and I will return your call promptly.
If you would like to discuss a "buy it now", all me and PRESENT your offer. Do NOT call and ask me, what's the lowest that you'll take?"
Here's your opportunity at a beautifully restored show/driver quality F100. One could not restore half of this truck including the donor truck for what it will sell for.Of note: MECUM Auctions returns to Chicago on October 8th. They are consigning now. This truck, f it were go to back "home" to Chicago, ould most likely bring in the low $20's to perhaps the $30K price range.
Please review all the pictures and feel free to ask any questions. This is an honest "turn key" truck. One that can be driven anywhere and everywhere with pride of ownership. It is perfect for ice cream runs with the grand kids, nd summer evening cruises. It is also just in time for Hot August Nights in Reno. (8/04/15)
Thanks for looking and good luck when you bid.
