Ford Model A 1929 Description

For sale is this beautiful 1929 leatherback sedan i bought this car over a year ago with the intentions of adding it to my collection but circumstances have forced me to sell it. This car came out of an estate in Massachusetts the previuos owner owned a Ford dealership and was also a member of a model a club and would use this car on many tours throughout the northeast.I have spent many thousands of dollars on this car in the past year and it show, below i will describe the car to the best of my ability.
THE BODY on this car is rock solid never had any rust or rust out of any kind also never any bondo or filler of any kind. This car is super straight. The wood on this car is also solid no rot the doors open and close like brand new.
THE PAINT on the body has just been repainted in base coat clear coat in it original andulusite blue with niagra blue reveals around the windows. When i got the car the body had been painted green (not very good) upon investigation i found the original paint was underneath but wasnt worth saving that is why i had it repainted. The fenders and slash aprons had been painted before i got it and were in good condition so i left them, very good condition but there are a few small chips and nicks.
MECHANICAL The engine was to have been rebuilt at some point before i got it but have no verification of this. The engine ine the car is not the original and was changed at some point this was very typical for model a's. I installed a new leakless waterpump new aluminum fan blad, new intake and exhaust manifols and a rebuilt tilly carb. This car runs and drives and stops great.
CHROME I had the original radiator shell and instrument panel rechromed not cheap the bumpers are in very good condition had been rechromed at some point but still very presentable. I also installed some new stainless steel headlights
INTERIOR The interior in the car was the original when i got it but worn and stained and with an nice exterior the interior just had to be redone so i had a new cartouche interior installed also a new rear carpet set the interior alone was $2000 plus install. Also installed a new steering wheel.
TIRES i installed some almost new firestone tires that i had no cracks.
GLASS The glass in the car is all good does have some small chips and a litle hazing in the corners of the windshield there is also a small BB hole in the very back glass but no cracks of any kind.
I have tried to describe the car as best i can and sure i have forgotten something i do have many pages of new parts that i have bought for this car, if you have any questions call Bob 352 428 889five or email me. Payment will be a $500 deposit within the 48 hours and balance due within 7 days of end of auction by means of cash wire transfer or certified bank check (needs to clear before i release the car) Transport is buyers responsibility but can help load.
