Ford Mustang 1971 Description
For sale is a Very Nice 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback.
This car has its original 351 Clevland 4bbl and its 3 speed automatic transmission.
Options include Front disc brakes and Power steering. It hasa Edelbrock alum. intake and aHolley 4 barrel up top.
This car has been stored in a climate controlled garage for almost 10 years. The previous owner who had inherited it from his brother who passed had the following work professionaly done. New front calipers and pads, rubber lines, master cyl., battery, carb. rebuilt, fuel pump, gas tank and lines flushed, tires, oil and tranny fluid and filters changed. He also had asafety check doneincluding making sure all lights, blinkers, wipers, horn etc., work as they should. This is a very solid car.
This car had a light restoration done I was toldin the late90's. The paint is nice but has had a few chips touched up here and there and there is minor bubbling on the verybottom of the pass. door (very little), I would say it is a nice driver quality paint job. The Black interior is in excellent condition with no issues at all. The shifter itself wiggles a little and looking in there from the top it looks like there are nylon washers/bushings that would probably need replacing although it functions fine. The muffler itself has a small leak, I can see a small hole in one of them, also probably from sitting and the headers are flattened out on the bottom from rubbing the road, a little low but no visible issues. The car runs and drives great. The rear louvers that were on the car at one time go with the car but are not installed. There are also various parts in the trunk.
