Ford Other 1950 Description
Originally purchased in Detroit. Car was bought by the previous owner to me at an estate sale in 1980s after owner passed away. Repainted (around 1990) and had the brakes rebuilt before I got it at a body shop in original color, then kept in storage. I bought it in 2015, replaced tires, radiator and carburetor and drove in the Woodward Dream cruise the past two years without problems. Has a couple small rust spots, near rear bumper and bottom of door but looks extra nice. Previous owner replaced rocker panels but said they weren't too bad. Original interior had seat covers put on in the 50s, still nice. Radio and heater work. I don't drive this much and need the room. Runs well, idles very nice. Most of the chrome including both bumpers and guards was rechromed and looks great. 6V system, the battery is a little weak and another one goes with the car. The generator does charge; 6V batteries just don't last long.I have original documents from when this car was last on the road. I took off the tires that were put on in the 60s. The guy had an alignment done in '61 for $20.
Cash or cashiers check only, due at pick up. Check must clear before the car leaves. Tax is responsibility of the buyer, MI requires title be filled out before the car leaves. You are responsible for transporting the car. It runs and drives well but you will need to decide how far you want to drive it in the weather, salt, etc.

The trunk mat is original, and has hardened and stuck to the floor with age. It's cracked and needs to be removed and replaced. I had the exhaust replaced last summer. I put in an original type ignition wire harness and points, rotor and cap also.
