Most people do not know realize that the 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang is coveted by the most serious muscle car collectors.This car was Ford’s first attempt to engineer and produce what would ultimately become the most recognizable and sought after factory Ford vehicle in their line.
This is a rare original numbers matching Ford Mustang convertible. It is a true 1964 1/2 "generator" car with the rare manual transmission. It sits nicely suited in its rangoon red exterior with midnight black top. The engine is also the sought after factory "4v" D code 289 c.i.d. motor. It runs excellent and is matched to its Ford smooth shifting manual transmission. The car is also nicely optioned with a power top and is a very enjoyable experience to drive. In fact, its a turn key car that will take you anywhere and receives tremendous admiration everywhere you go.
Everything on the car is in great working order. There is a factory equipped tire jackand wrench within the trunk along with the convertible top boot. The top is perfect and looks as new. The carpet has some minor discoloration in spots and the paint is still shiny with a few flaws considering its a fifty year old car. The condition of the undercarriage is solid with the frame. The tires are also recent and still show new, as well. This Mustang isexceptionally classy and turns heads everywhere you go. It has also won numerous Mustang classes and cruise shows over the years.
NOTES: Please note that the Mustang is for sale locally for $27,500.00 and is available for inspection. There is no warranty with the car due to its age.
