Ford Bronco 1975 Description

Up for auction is a 1975 Ford Bronco. It has a running 302 (running off or a 1 gallon gas can under the hood). The motor cranks up easy and the dual exhaust sounds good. The motor seems to run strong. The air cleaner is off in the pictures but the original air cleaner is included in the auction. There is a small leak in the radiator. It also has a 3 speed transmission that shifts on the column. It shifts good and the clutch works well. It has factory drum brakes all around but they are currently not working. It will need brake work. The frame is solid. The frame and body were sprayed with undercoating at the dealer when purchased. The transfer case shifts fine and the 4 wheel drive works although the front axles will need u-joints. The bronco will run and drive although I have not driven it on the road due to the fact that it has no brakes. It will easily load onto a trailer. The outer body on this bronco is very solid. The hood and grill have some rust spots but they are not rusted all the way out. The hood, grill, fenders, inner fenders, door hanger posts, door striker posts, doors, dash, rear quarter panels, and rear corner posts are all in good shape. The front 1/3 of the bottom of the passenger side rocker panel is rusted out but the drivers side rocker is solid. The tail gate is solid and works very well although there is a little rust on it. The underside of the tailgate is solid, just rust where you can see it in the pictures. The top is in very good shape along with the lift gate but the passenger side lift gate hinge is missing the backup plate and the bolt (only one was holding it on) pull through. It should be an easy fix once a backup plate is installed. The front floor pans have been covered with metal. The original floor pans are rusted in spots and will need to be replaced. The rear floor has surface rust and it is rusted through on the driver's side around the wheel well in spots and completely behind the wheel well. The rear floor pans will need work. The bronco has rust in the floors but the rest is in good shape. The bronco feels solid. It does not feel like its trying to fall apart by any means. The tires are 7.50-16's and look to have almost no miles on them at all although they are old. The windshield is obviously broken but the rest of the glass is good. This bronco has been on a family farm here in El Dorado its whole life. It was purchased here in El Dorado at the Marks Company Ford Dealership. This would be an excellent candidate for a full restoration, or fix a few things and drive it as is. THE BATTERY IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. Thanks for looking and good luck!!
