Ford Model T 1926 Description

Up for auction with no reserve: A 1926 Ford Model T Touring Car. This is an older restoration. The car still needs a few minor things, but it is solid overall and has MANY new parts. I am in the process of moving and will no longer have a place to store it. I have over $4000 worth of receiptsfrom Lang's Old Car Parts which will be included with the car. I drove the car around locally last summer and it always started with ease, either with the electric starter or a quarter crank of the hand crank when it was already warm. There are a couple of issues with the paint, most notable the left rear door has some cracking and chipping near the top. Overall this is a nice looking '26 and should be a great car for its new owner. Includes 3 original brass keys. Clear Michigan Title.
Things that have been recently replaced within the last 2 years:
  • Transmission Bands (used Scandinavia Linings, just had done)
  • All wiring harnesses
  • Starter & battery cables
  • Spark plug wires
  • Ignition Coils
  • Coil Box
  • Champion X Spark Plugs
  • Carburetor
  • Generator
  • Upgraded to Voltage Regulator
  • Horn Button
  • Upholstery
  • Tires
  • Exhaust Pipe
  • Tail Light Assembly
  • Battery
  • Ammeter
  • Ignition Switch
  • Fan Belt
  • Hoses

  • Many other small parts too numerous to list.

The car still needs the following:
  • Convertible Top (I was quoted $800 to have it re-done professionally, or you could buy the kit for $399 and do it yourself)
  • Left front wheel hub is not correct, new one is included but not installed
  • Horn needs to be taken apart and cleaned/rebuilt
  • Drive plate rivets were discovered to be loose when the bands were replaced. I recommend replacing them before running the car.
  • Timing and new carb will need to be adjusted (new timing rod included, painted and ready to install)
  • New bands will need to be adjusted and broken in
  • General inspection for any other worn parts should be conducted before driving.
Car is located in Dexter, MI (48130). Feel free to call me at 248-633-6086 with any additional questions.
