1972 Gran Torino,with a 351C 2V bought new in Sacramento CA, stayed in oroville CA till approx 2012 when the older couple both passed and the car was willed to there Grandson in Dixon CA he hung on to it for about 3 or 4 years but really didnt drive it. I bought it in early 2016. i had the front and back seats redone, put the nice wheels tires on it & added the GT hood. i bought the car with 72,000 miles on it and currently has 75K on it. these are original miles, the grandson saw a big file of all the work on this but it was lost during the eststate sale the file was lost along the way. this car starts right up an idles very smooth, it runs great, has strong acceleration and tight steering without drifting, the car stops great with no pull, transmission shifts great with no slip, except for the items i mentioned this car is all original "& unrestored. the A/C has been replaced but needs to be charged or converted over to the new stuff. out of all the cars i have had over the years and several 72 torinos & rancheros this car runs the best. you just get right in and go where ever. i have taken many trips in it to S.F. and Santa Cruz and up north these trips average about 200 to 300 miles round trip with no issues.
