Ford Ranchero 1965 Description

1965 Ford Ranchero looks and runs great. No Reserve! VERY NICE driver quality car. 289 V8 with newly rebuilt carburetor. This car runs beautifully and I recently took it on a 100 mile drive with zero issues. Dual exhaust sounds great without being obnoxious. Front disc brakes (swanky for '65). Car starts, rives, hifts and stops as it should.
  • 289 V8
  • front disc brakes
  • dual exhaust
  • new dash pad
  • new door panels
  • new split seat
  • new package tray
  • new door sills
  • new emblems
  • new weatherstripping
  • new taillight gaskets, tc. etc.
You'll notice the strip of stainless on the passenger side bed is missing. I am trying to find one now and will include it if I do. There is a very slight blemish in the driver door, ut only shows up in certain light so I wanted to call that out. Most people wouldn't even see it. This is a Texas car and very solid for 50 years old. I am also including new floor pans ($300). I bought them for both sides assuming I would need to replace them, ut the driver's side is 100% solid and while the passenger side has some rust, t is still completely serviceable so I didn't replace it. Tires have less than 5k on them. Old school Cragers and bolt-on traction bars. It has a keyed push-button ignition, hich is very cool and uses the original keys. 1965 was the only year for this body style. They are getting harder and harder to find, specially with the V8 option, nd when you see them they are often either expensive concourse restorations or complete basket cases. There seems to be few left for regular people. Now's your chance to own an appreciating Ranchero and drive it too. Perfect for car clubs, unning around or the occasional haul. You could even drive it daily if you wanted. I reserve the right to end the auction early because it is listed on Auto Trader Classics as well. I will work with your hauler and can be available whenever they need me. Thanks!
