Ford F-100 1958 Description

For sale today is my 1958 F100 stepside. The truck has had many modifications already but needs to be finished. The body is all steel, all original, and virtually rust free. It has been modified with a set-back firewall to accomodate the engine. The master cylinder is mounted to the firewall, while the booster is hidden under the dash. The rear fenders have been widened to fit the large wheels and tires. A shortened GM column steers the truck. Lincoln Mark VIII leather seats go with the truck but are not yet bolted in. The headrests have been removed to give the interior a cleaner look.
The chassis has been boxed front to rear. A 1986 Jaguar XJ6 suspension has been added to the front along with a 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII IRS in the rear. Air ride has been installed on the front and rear. The chassis has been modified to accept a custom core support and 1994 Mark VIII radiator. Custom mounts and crossmembers support the all-aluminum, DOHC Lincoln 4.6L engine and automatic transmission. The rear of the frame has been modified for the installation of the Mustang fuel tank. The frame has been painted 2012 Ford Fusion Blue Flame and Silver. The front wheels are 18"X8" Boss 338's with Nitto 555 tires. The rear wheels are 18"X9 1/2" Boss 338's with matching Nitto 555 tires.
Lots of parts go with this truck. They include, but are not limited to: 2 air ride compressors, 8 air ride valves, all engine accessories, new Mustang tank, COMPLETE Mark VIII wiring harness, Mark VIII repair manual and EVTM manual. Stepside steps, and a big rear window cab panel with glass is included. A chrome 1957 grille has been installed in the truck. If the buyer would rather have the original painted 1958 grille, I will swap them.
THIS TRUCK COMES WITH A CLEAR ILLINOIS TITLE IN MY NAME, HOWEVER THE ORIGINAL DATA PLATE HAS BEEN REMOVED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER. A DUPLICATE DATA PLATE CAN BE PURCHASED VERY CHEAPLY THROUGH VARIOUS PLACES, INCLUDING EBAY. I HAVE TRIED TO DESCRIBE THE VEHICLE AS ACCURATELY AS POSSIBLE. NO WARRANTY IS EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. A NON-REFUNDABLE $500 DEPOSIT IS DUE AT AUCTION END. THE REMAINDER OF PAYMENT IS DUE BEFORE THE VEHICLE WILL LEAVE MY PROPERTY. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK! JOHN
