Ford Other 1989 Description

Show quality------Stunning & Pristine loaded with options and unbelievably clean/pampered condition. EVERYTHING WORKS! Clearly a non-smoker & always garaged vehicle with 38,004 ACTUAL miles. The exterior is finished in original glossy desirable Adobe Beige with original wood grain in impeccable shape- very little wear, original sheen and no damage or repairs. This is the Ford 3M DI-NOC product that came from the factory (this is always one of the biggest challenges on these wagons- no apologies here). Car has clearly not seen salt- RUST FREE, glass is clear and crisp all around- original factory windshield. Just received state inspection, NEW BATTERY last week and nearly new TIRES. Phenomenal show quality Ford factory turbine alloy wheels with no damage or pitting whatsoever- they're beautiful! Interior is spotless, damage free, shows nearly no wear, no tears, no stains, and although this sounds cliche- back seats and rear cargo look to not have been used. Even the light color carpeted floor mats look great- they were always covered by all weather mats. Carpets are beautiful. Steering wheel shows very low use you would expect from a 38k car. This car comes with every option Ford offered except the sunroof which avoids the issues of leaks. The turbine alloys are nearly impossible to find in this condition.
I am a small scale collector/hobbyist- GM primarily, but this Ford is one of the nicest wagons that I have ever personally found. I recently acquired a nearly museum quality Buick and I have one other wagon -so I am thinning the herd so to speak. She does not have to go and I am proud to own it. That said- I will sell her fair to make space. NOT A DEALER.
This vehicle is a smooth/solid rattle free dream to drive- always gets a crowd & looks/smiles and offers at local shows. These wagons just make folks smile- they are a lot of fun... I have a fairly deep amount of info on car- a folder with documentation. It was sold new to a couple in Hershey PA and that dealer decal remains on tailgate. They owned it most of it's life and their estate liquidated it. It was transferred from auction to the dealer I acquired it from # 3 who was a dealer/collector. Two individual owners and the dealer assignments concur with the report. I will let the car speak for itself. Again- I am a collector and picky about condition/care- this vehicle is for auto enthusiasts looking to buy a pristine example. I will assist you with your shipper of choice and more than happy to talk via phone to legitimate prospects. My time is valuable as is yours of course. I am an honest individual as you will see by my feedback and have nothing to hide here- just ask, and if I can answer I certainly will.
It has been driven and enjoyed very conservatively of course. It is not a museum piece- but absolutely nicer than virtually any remaining one can easily find. These were workhorses and meant for long use. It just is not easy to find them any longer sadly. I will not sell this vehicle out of the U.S.- It stays here in America where a classic trophy like this should remain. It makes a statement as to what we value here and there are just too few left to allow it to leave the continent- not on my watch anyway. I have a passion for these cars- it's not business to me.
My mechanic and body guys say they have not seen one this nice in 20 years or more easily. I am always searching and they just do not come along any more but 3 wagons is a load to care for when one has several other special interest vehicles.... I like them spotless, original totally unmolested, immaculate clean, rust free and low miles- No exceptions.
*Car is advertised locally and auction could end early. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE SUFFICIENT CASH TO CLOSE SALE AND ALLOW FOR SHIPPING of your Choice.
I happen to have available as well a couple literally factory new parts that fit this vehicle. A brand new luggage rack in Ford pkging as well as a beautiful museum quality bumper. I did not install because they are in fine shape on this vehicle but I would sell them. I ran across them at a car show and figured -why not? Where else are you going to find them again?
