Ford Mustang 1982 Description
You are bidding on a 1982 Ford Mustang GT hatchback race car in need of restoration. I bought this car last year in thoughts of converting it to a pro street weekend cruiser which appears ill never get too with all my other projects. We will start with the interior. The interior has the original dashboard, oor panels, enter console and all plastics. Giant tack, achit style shifter and 6PT Cage. There is no carpet, eadliner, r seats. There is one small hole on the passengers rear floor and surface rust as seen in pics. Trunk floor pan is solid. Now for the body. The body passenger's fender needs to be replaced. There is bubbling on both doors and both b pillars have rust through as seen in pics. Which is normal for these years. The rest of the body is in decent shape but which may have a dent or two I missed. See pics for body's condition. Now for the drivetrain. The car has a 351 Windsor with a 12.5 to 1 compression. Large carb which looks to be a 750, ith headers, tc. the trans is level lo c-4 auto. Car was originally stick and pedals are still in car. The rear end is a 8.8 with 4.10 Auburn with a 5 lug conversion all the way around. The car also has a msd Mallory, ine lock, tc. This car has a lot of other goodies that I missed as I am not a big race car enthusiast. The car will need a fuel pump as one of the two fuel pumps are not working it will also need a shift cable as it was taken off and lost. The only way to start the car right now is to pour gas in the carb. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. If interested please contact me to arrange a time to view the car before the end of auction NOT after the auction ends. The car is being sold with no reserve and will go to the high bidder. Payment is due by money order, ashiers check, ire transfer or cash in person upon pickup. Car must be picked up within 7 days unless other arrangements are made prior to the end of auction.
