Ford F-100 1968 Description

Selling my wife's 1968 Ford F100 Ranger. Bought new in Statesville NC in 1968, traded back to dealership in 1971 and that is when Mr Anderson purchased the truck. This dealership is 20 minutes from where my home where the truck is located now. I have paperwork where he purchased the truck in 1971, also original owners manual and inspection papers. Mr Anderson had the truck inspected in 1998 and the mileage was stated as 15,608. The next inspection was done in 2001 and the mileage was stated as 26,216. Mr Anderson was the second owner and passed away in 2000 and at that time the truck went to his sister and was there until my wife bought it this year. It has been in his family for 46 years. He and his sister both lived 5 minutes from my house. Being our neighbors and going to the same church for years the truck was made available to us this year. Not sure if the mileage is 37167 but looking at the pedals and door hinges(absolutely no play) there is a good possibility for it has not been driven much at all since his death. Original colors, original engine unrestored with the exception of one repaint and a seat recover. There are scratches and chips in the paint as the repaint was done before he passed away. This is an honest survivor that can be driven and displayed proudly. Not some chopped up pieced together vehicle.
