1975 Ford Ranger F-150 Sport
History:
Very low mileage, 2-owner pickup. We are the second owners but, in all reality, I've only driven this truck less than maybe 500 miles in total. We have had it a while andbought it from the 91 year old original owner and his wife. This truck held a lot of great memories. He and his wife were hard-working German immigrants and this was their very first new vehicle. I'm told it was an easy truck for them to pick out when they visited the Ford dealership back in 1975... They said it was simplythe best looking truck there. The truck was used to pull a small RV for summer holidays. They were very sad to see the it go.With the urging of their daughter, they understood that it was time.
Condition:
This is not a restored vehicle. Also, this is not a vehicle of dubious history that has beentampered with. Personally, I prefer unrestored vehicles 100/1. They've beat all odds. Unrestored original vehicles are true classics and valuable collector pieces in my eyes. They call them "survivors". I call them valuable. A super nice, genuine, and originalclassic, with low mileage, ishard to find. They're becoming increasingly more difficult. Their unique blemishes and character flaws are their pedigree. This truck, beingover 35years old, certainly has it's pedigree. It's not perfect but, it's perfectly nice. As expected, it has a few blemishes but nothing typical. I think it's in pretty great condition considering. It's very rust free; even in the most vulnerable spots. The only mentionable age-related wear on the truck would be some fading on the carpetand some stitching coming apart on the seat. The faded areason the carpet can be spray dyed, although I have a brand new carpet from LMC in the box. There's nothing else really mentionable. And, there you have it... It's just a really great and sporty, no-excuses little pickup.
