Ford Fairlane 1956 Description

Up for auction is a rare 1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner. This is a rough and rusty parts car, oo far gone to restore without being re-bodied, ut it does have many convertible specific parts. There was no data plate on this car when I purchased it. The original engine and transmission are present, ut have been exposed to the weather for many years. Looks to be 292 or 312 YBlock with Fordomatic transmission. Standard steering. Some of the "useful" parts on the car: Front vent window housings are both very good. Door and quarter convertible window frames are present and intact. Complete roof bow assembly is present - side rails and cross bows are useable and decent - front header is present but heavily rusted. Outer windshield stainless and top header stainless present and in good condition. Grill and bumpers are straight and can be rechromed. A few interior quarter stainless trim pieces are present, nd rear convertible tonneau cover moldings are present and useable - but the small center clip is missing. Convertible "X" brace in frame is intact. Convertible top ram mounts are present, nd upper rear tub sheet metal /wheel houses could be used on another body. Front cowl/windshield section is intact and usable. Interior windshield moldings are missing. Top switch still mounted under the dash. Fenders, oors, runk lid and lower quarter panels are heavily rusted. Interior floors and body mounts are gone - there's not a lot of lower body structure left. There's bits and pieces of the front and rear seat springs - not a whole lot left there of value. Factory colors were Fiesta red upper and Colonial white lower, ith red/white interior. I do not have a title on this car, o it is sold on a bill of sale only. A spare, ood steering box and steering wheel is included. Also, his car does roll and steer in its present state to facilitate loading. This car needs to be paid for and picked up by March 6, 016, s I've vacated warehouse space where it is stored. Cash or Paypal payments only, o trades. Thank you for your interest.
