Ford Fairlane 1957 Description
This is a pretty solid 57 Fairlane that has been under the shed for several years. The body has light surface rust and the floor has a couple of rust holes and a good size hole cut out for a shifter. The rockers are solid except for one small place on the drivers side which I tried to picture. The quarters look good but there are a few "bubbles" popping up over the wheel well on the drivers side. All the gutter around the trunk area is in great shape and all the metal around the windshield and rear glass area is perfect, no rust out at all. The car was completely disassembled when I got it several years ago so I don't know for sure which pieces might be missing but I am confident it has been picked over in the past. Both doors are from a convertible but it comes with the correct vent glass and window channel frame to fit the two door. One door bottom is perfect and the other needs a little metal work on the bottom as shown in the picture. The hood is good inside and out and the deck lid is fairly good just needing a small amount of work on the inside bottom edge. Bid to win as this is a no reserve auction and I am only asking for a smallopening bid. Thanks for bidding, DavidNOTE: I do not have a title for this car. I have some of the previous owners paper work but no title, it will cost about $225 extra to get a current Tennessee title with the paperwork I have.On May-08-17 at 14:49:35 PDT, seller added the following information:
Note: When I answer questions the replies are not going through for some reason so I will post the last answer here. This was a V-8 car with a manual transmission and none of the pedal mechanism is with the car.
